Group Profile

The "Group list" page displays a list of currently available groups, their detailed information, the users assigned to these groups, their assigned permissions and enables you to add new groups, modify the existing groups' information, delete groups and send messages to groups of users of Margento Processing System Administration.

 

 
Prerequisites:

Login as System administrator or user with appropriate access rights.

 

This page consists of the following parts:

 

Group list

This is a list of existing groups with their basic information. The list contains basic information for listed groups, employer association, group name, group full name and status. For additional information on using lists, see About Margento Processing System Administration.

If you wish to display which information will be shown on the list, use Search filter, located in the right corner of the screen.

 

 

Tabbed box

The box under the list contains User details, Organizational unit memberships, Groups memberships and Permissions tabs, each containing fields for displaying, modifying, adding and removing specific parts of information associated with a specific group, and a Messaging tab for sending text messages to groups of users of Margento Processing System Administration. Displaying Group Information

 

To display detailed information for a specific group:

 

1.

Click the group in the group list.

2.

The fields in the tabs of the tabbed box will be populated with the information for this group.

3.

Click through the tabs to display the content for the selected group.

 

Modifying Group Information

 

To modify information for a specific Group:

 

1.

Click the group in the group list.

2.

The fields in the tabs of the tabbed box will be populated with the information for this group.

3.

Click through the tabs to display the content for the selected group.

4.

Edit the information in the fields of a specific tab.

5.

Click the "Store" button at the bottom of the box to save the new information or click the "Reload" button to retrieve stored information and overwrite your changes in the fields.

 

Adding Groups

 

When you first open the "Group list" page, the "Group details" tab will contain empty details fields. If you have been previously browsing through details for a specific group, changing the information in the fields will update the information for that group. To clear the fields, click the "New" button at the bottom of the box.

 

To add a new group:

 

1.

Enter the information for the new group in the "Group details" tab of the tabbed box.

2.

Click the "Store" button at the bottom of the box.

 

The Group form specifies:

Once a new group has been added, you can also edit the information in the other tabs for this group. Click the tab to display the tab content, fill out the required fields and click the "Store" button at the bottom of the box.

 

Removing Groups

 

To remove an existing group:

 

1.

Click the entry for this group in the list.

2.

The fields in the tabs of the tabbed box will be populated with the information for this group. Verify, that this is indeed the group you would like to remove from Margento Processing System Administration.

3.

Click the "Delete" button at the bottom of the box.
