System

The "System" menu provides access to the management of the common data used in Margento Processing System Administration.

 

System Management

 

Margento Processing System includes powerful system management providing configuration and monitoring capabilities for the whole system regardless of the number of servers and locations where those servers are deployed. It allows system configuration changes and upgrades to be done online without interruption. Alerting enables quick response times and maximizes system availability.

 

System Administration

 

Only one user of Margento Processing System Administration has access to all information, the System administrator or operator. The system administrator handles permissions for all roles and the overall maintenance of the Margento Processing System Administration system. The system administrator has full control over the system catalogues, the Margento Processing System backbone with the most commonly used and valuable information.

 

Company Roles

 

Company roles are added or listed and assigned to a group that defines its permission settings. Each role inherits the permissions and settings given to the group it is associated to. These roles then appear in the Roles tab in company management. For more information on managing company roles, see Company Roles.

 

Currencies

All currencies used in Margento Processing System Administration are entered in the Currencies page. Only these currencies are used for processing transactions within Margento Processing System Administration. In other words, only these appear in all currency drop down menus. ePin Denominations

ePin denominations are used for ePin transactions processed by the terminals. Only ePin transactions with existing ePin denominations can be processed. For more information on managing ePin denominations, see ePin Denominations.

 

Applications

Each product and service registered by the service provider is listed in the "Applications" page. It categorizes products and services by their applications. These are not specific to any company. For more information on managing applications, see Applications.

 

Subapplications

Subapplications are sub categories of the applications. Each subapplication has to belong to an application. If an application has sub applications, a subapplication has to be selected when registering a product or service. For more information on managing subapplications, see Subapplications.

 

Transaction Types

Margento Processing System Administration can process several types of transactions, for example, prepaid with cash, ePin transactions and many others. Transaction types help categorize transactions. For more information on managing transaction types, see Transaction Types.

 

Terminal Types

Margento Processing System Administration offers several types of terminals depending upon the available functionality. Each terminal type is entered with its specific description. This information is used to import the terminal information from an xml file. For more information on managing terminal types, see Terminal Types.

 

Terminal Statuses

The status of a terminal is usually either enabled or disabled, but terminals may have other statuses as well, such as configure or service.Terminal statuses listed in the "Terminal Statuses" page appear in the terminal status drop-down menus. Online Statuses

Online status is a code that defines the transaction status. Statuses may not be added, edited or deleted without prior consent of the IT department. For more information on managing online statuses, see Online Statuses.

 

NetLog Clients

This section lists all of the core Margento Processing System components. For more information on managing NetLog clients, see NetLog Clients.

 

Results

Results are offline transaction codes. Each id is defined in Margento Processing System, and cannot be modified at any time. For more information on managing results, see Results.

 

BLP Engines

A BLP engine of a Merchant represents one Merchant's bonus & loyalty program with several products and services under it. While signing a BLP contract, a BLP engine will have to be selected. For more information on managing BLP engines, see BLP Engines.
