Contracts

The "Contracts" page displays a list of currently available contracts for a company, and enables you to edit company contracts. Custom contracts can be created for each company and custom values can be assigned to these contracts. The contracts can be edited or deleted at any time.

 

 
Prerequisites:

Login as System administrator or user with appropriate access rights.

 

This page consists of the following parts:

 

Contract list

This is a list of available contracts. The list contains the contract type, owner, client, contract date, valid date, reference number and status. For additional information on using lists, see About Margento Processing System Administration.

If you wish to display which information will be shown on the list, use Search filter, located in the right corner of the screen.

 

 

Tabbed box

The box under the list contains a tab for displaying, modifying, adding and removing contracts.

Displaying Contracts

 

To display detailed information for a specific contract:

 

1.

Click the contract in the contract list.

2.

The fields in the "Details" tab of the tabbed box will be populated with the information for this contract.

 

Modifying Contracts

 

To modify information for a specific contract:

 

1.

Click the contract in the contract list.

2.

The fields in the tab of the tabbed box will be populated with the information for this contract.

3.

Edit the information in the fields.

4.

Add provisions to the contract by clicking the Add provision button or remove provisions by clicking the "X" button on the right side of a a specific listed provision.

5.

Click the "Store" button at the bottom of the box to save the new information or click the "Reload" button to retrieve stored information and overwrite your changes in the fields.

 

Adding Contracts

 

When you first open the "contract" list page, the "Details" tab will not contain any fields. To add a new contract, select a contract type from the drop-down menu and click "Create". Appropriate fields for the selected contract type will be displayed.

 

If you have been previously browsing through details for a specific contract by clicking an item in the list, changing the information in the fields will update the information for that contract. To clear the fields, click the "New" button at the bottom of the box. You can now add a new contract with the same contract type you were previously browsing.

 

To add a new contract of another contract type, select a contract type from the drop-down menu and click "Create". Appropriate fields for the selected contract type will be displayed.

 

To add a new contract:

 

1.

Enter the information for the new contract in the "Details" tab of the tabbed box.

2.

Click the "Store" button at the bottom of the box.

 

Removing Contracts

 

To remove an existing contract:

 

1.

Click the entry for this contract in the list.

2.

The fields in the "Details" tab of the tabbed box will be populated with the information for this contract. Verify, that this is indeed the contract you would like to remove from Margento Processing System Administration.

3.

Click the "Delete" button at the bottom of the box.
