Import terminals

The "Import data" page enables you to import information for a specific terminal. New terminal information cannot be manually added to Margento Processing System Administration. The manufacturer of the terminal provides an xml file with terminal descriptions and the terminal information can be imported into the Margento Processing System Administration interface using this file.

Prerequisites:

•	Login as System admin or Company admin or Company user with a proper permissions

•	Company with company role Merchant

Importing New Terminals

To import a new terminal:

1.	Click browse and select the xml file provided to you by the manufacturer of the terminal you are importing.

2.	Select a terminal type for you terminal from the drop-down menu.

3.	Click the "Import" button.

Import terminals form specifies:

Parameter	Description	Notes
File	browse for XML file to upload terminals
Terminal type	type of terminals in XML file

The file is uploaded to the server, where it is parsed. A Status Report is generated and displayed to the user. Report displays: Serial number of each unsuccessful imported terminal, terminal ID and error description.

Terminals that were successfully imported to Margento are displayed in black; the terminals that failed to import are displayed in red.

Terminal can not be deleted if is assigned to Point of Sale or Merchant, updated, in update process or performed any transaction.
