Terminal updates

The "Terminal updates" page displays a list of currently available terminal updates, their detailed information, enables you to add updates, modify the existing terminal updates, delete terminal updates and add terminals to a specific update by adding a specific terminal, adding all point of sale terminals, adding all terminals for a specific Merchant or adding all available terminals. *** How do you remove terminals from an update?

 

 
Prerequisites:

Login as System admin or Company admin  or Company user with a proper permissions
Company with company role Merchant

This page consists of the following parts:

 

Terminal updates list

This is a list of existing terminal updatess with their basic information. The list contains basic information for listed terminal updates, employer association, terminal updates name, terminal updates full name and status. For additional information on using lists, see About Margento Processing System Administration.

If you wish to display which information will be shown on the list, use Search filter, located in the right corner of the screen.

 

 

Tabbed box

The box under the list contains tabs, each containing fields for displaying, modifying, adding and removing specific parts of information associated with a specific terminal updates. The "Updates" tab also enables you to enable, disable or remove updates of terminal updatess.

Adding Terminal Updates

 

When you first open the "Terminal updates" list page, the tabs will contain empty fields. If you have been previously browsing through details for a specific terminal update by clicking an item in the list, changing the information in the fields will update the information for that terminal update. To clear the fields, click the "New" button at the bottom of the box.

 

To add a new terminal update:

 

1.

Enter the information for the new terminal update in the "Properties" tab of the tabbed box.

2.

Upload the update.

3.

Click the "Store" button at the bottom of the box.

Displaying Terminal Updates Information

 

To display detailed information for a specific terminal update:

 

1.

Click the terminal updates in the terminal updates list.

2.

The fields in the "Properties" tab of the tabbed box will be populated with the information for this terminal updates.

 

Modifying Terminal Updates Information

 

To modify information for a specific terminal update:

 

1.

Click the terminal update in the terminal updates list.

2.

The fields in the "Properties" tab of the tabbed box will be populated with the information for this terminal update.

3.

Edit the information in the fields.

4.

Click the "Store" button at the bottom of the box to save the new information or click the "Reload" button to retrieve stored information and overwrite your changes in the fields.

 

To disable an update for a specific terminal, refer to Terminal List.

 

Removing Terminal Updates

 

To remove an existing terminal update:

 

1.

Click the entry for this terminal updates in the list.

2.

The fields in the "Properties" tab of the tabbed box will be populated with the information for this terminal updates. Verify, that this is indeed the terminal update you would like to remove from Margento Processing System Administration.

3.

Click the "Delete" button at the bottom of the box.

 

To disable an update for a specific terminal, refer to Terminal List.
